todo es energia

Everything is energy, including you

Have you noticed that some spaces fill you with energy and boost your vitality, while others, on the contrary, completely drain you? There’s an explanation for this: the energy around us has a direct impact on our body, mind, emotions, and our own life force.

Just as there are “vitamin people” who inspire you, lift your spirits, and make you feel good, there are also people with a denser kind of energy who can exhaust you. The same thing happens with spaces. An environment can nourish or drain you depending on the energy it holds and how that energy moves. It’s no coincidence, everything is energy, and the energy of our surroundings directly influences our own.

Feng Shui studies how energy flows in spaces and seeks to harmonize it so that we can feel better in our everyday lives. To create this harmony, it’s based on five elements: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood. Each element represents a form of energy and has specific characteristics, as well as certain colors, shapes, and materials associated with it. These elements interact with each other, they nourish or control one another, affecting the balance of a space. Too much of one element can create tension, while the absence of another can reduce vitality. When we combine these elements well, we achieve an energy flow that enhances our emotions, mental clarity, relationships, personal goals, and even our health.

That’s why arranging your furniture at home or at work according to these elements leaves a real imprint on your well-being.

If you want to start perceiving the energy of your surroundings, pay attention to how you feel when you enter a room. Does it invite you in? And once inside, does it bring you calm or make you feel uneasy? Notice if there are areas where clutter tends to build up, or perhaps where light doesn’t reach. Small gestures, like letting in natural light, keeping things tidy, or adding plants, already begin to transform the energy.

With Feng Shui, it’s not about filling your home with new objects, but about understanding what your space is telling you. Your home is a reflection of how you feel, and by taking care of it, you’re also taking care of yourself. When you harmonize your surroundings, you harmonize your inner world.
